To run a tyre retreading factory, the investing scale can be big or small. It can start from a production line or scaled production through buying many set of equipments, which depends on the investors' reality. The requirements in choosing the production scale include :
- Workshop
Considering a medium or small-scaled production line, the workshop shall not be less than 100 square meters. there must be a empty field for piling up tires.
- Workers
One production line must be equipped with two to four workers, and the amounts should increase as the production scale extends.
- Environmental Considerations
Tire retreading factories will not discharge waste gas, waste water and industrial residue, thus avoiding secondary pollution to the environment. Pay attention to protecting the piled used tires and controlling the amounts, never stacking form a rather long time.
- Working Capital
For one production line, the working capital shall not be less than Rs 1500000 If the scale extends, the working capital shall be according.

Process flow of Cold Tyre Retreading
- Inspection
Choice the better tyre. The surface of the tyre must be intact ,both the sides should not have oversize mangler.
- Drying
Clean the tyre, then dry it.
- Buffing
After drying,the tyres old tread is mechanically removed on high speed buffers.Then people make second polishing and section repairs.
- Building-tread rubber
The buffed tyre needs a thin layer of cushion gum to be wrapped around its crown area.The pre-cured tread rubber is then applied with the Tire Surface Press Fit Machine.
- Enveloping
The built tyres are then mounted with envelops and rims to prepare them for curing.
- FixingSteel Ring
After enveloping the tire,fix them on the felly on the working platform.And they are ready for being made vacuum and vulcanization.
- Curing by pre-cure pots
The tyre is then placed in a pre-cure pot and pre-cured tread becomes adhered to the tyre through a vucanizing process.
- Final inspection
The retreaded tyre is subjected to a final inspection.This inspection insure that only tyres that meet industry qulity standards are allowed to leave the retread plant.
